I really enjoyed this pattern, and it looks great completed. (Just need to make it into a box lid for my niece)
It does take a lot of different thread colours though, so I wouldn't recommend for a beginner.
I'm now doing the Princess and the Pea for another niece.

As cute as this guy was... He was pretty vicious. With teeth that seem adapted for coral and vegetation, he was ferociously attacking and eating small feeder shrimp in his tank.
The Scavo Community Center is a realized dream shared by many stakeholders, sponsors and partners. There are some 25 of them listed on the sign that marks the entrance to not only the dental clinic, but a medical clinic too.
Representatives from Delta Dental and Mid-Iowa Health Foundation, the principal benefactors that made the dental clinic possible, were on hand to wield the giant scissors that made it official. So was Gentry, the first African-American elected to the Des Moines School Board and a long-time member of the Delta Dental and Mid-Iowa Health Foundation boards of directors.
I found these colors of embroidery floss on my desk. They were all from different projects, but went together so well! They remind me of an ice cream cone all stacked up...

The young trees start out growing fast, straight, and narrow, then slowly develop broadly spreading umbrella canopies as they age. Silk floss trees typically drop their leaves just before they put on their spectacular autumn display of large five-petaled flowers. The petals vary from pale pink to rose to purple or burgundy at the tips and grade into ivory with brownish spots or blotches at the base. After blooming, pear shaped fruits appear which have a silky floss on the seeds, hence the name.
