Amsterdam - Flora pad / BInnenhof straat.
Floradorp (Flora village) was one the many garden villages developed in Amsterdam between 1920 and 1940 to counterbalance the impoverished working-class neighborhoods in the city centre. The majority of street names in Floradorp are named after flowers and plants (Wp).

The works of sculptor Jo Hess are found throughout the U.S. in sculpture parks, gardens, airports and private homes.
Although she completed many commissions in the form of busts and life-size portrait sculptures, her personal favorite pieces were those which represented the beauty and grace she saw in her home town of Mobile, Alabama.
This sculpture is titled ‘Flora’. It is a life-size figure of a young woman kneeling in her garden. Editions of ‘Flora’ are found in several sculpture parks throughout the U.S., as well as in museum gardens and in private collections. It is Jo Hess’ signature piece.

Oltre al verde degli abeti e dei larici, la natura mostra anche nei fiori i suoi colori più vivaci nel periodo estivo. Immerso in questo spettacolo tra la flora alpina si trova il Lago inferiore di Colbricon ad un altezza di 1.927 metri all'interno del Parco Naturale Paneveggio - Pale di San Martino in localita Primiero San Martino di Castrozza (TN). Sullo sfondo si trovano le cime dolomitiche del Gruppo del Catinaccio.

Immersed in this spectacle of alpine flora lies the lower Colbricon Lake at a height of 1,927 meters within the Paneveggio - Pale di San Martino Natural Park in Primiero San Martino di Castrozza (TN). In the background are the Dolomite peaks of the Catinaccio Group.
