My flight, tossed in a booth at St. Mike's. I put that Scottish flag patch on it years ago, as a reaction to the whole Irish pride thing that was so big in the skinhead scene. Since I'm a redhead, everyone assumed that my family hails from the Emerald Isle. We don't.

Collar damage. Hanger added by previous owner. Label stitching similar size to military spec labels.
The shutter failed to open completely when I took this one. I think it looks like she's been caught by a security camera in the act of running away or something.
Fits little boys size 12-24 months range, all hand pieced applique fused and satin stitched, machine wash and dry, zips with a plane fob in the front, made with fleece and not lined, elastic at the cuffs and waist... Great for Maverick fans!
One of the missing May 2008 WRMX's -One month on from 'early retirement'. I had an operation on my right little finger in May 2008 but it never went completely straight.

The nose art on Lockheed S-3B Viking 160604 was painted by me, Laurie Dover. I am an artist who paints WWII nose art and insignia on leather flight jackets. We were commissioned by VS-21 to create a specific design to be painted on one of their airplanes, the S-3B Viking, in honor of the squadron’s decommissioning. The artwork is painted in a style reminiscent to nose artwork done during WWII. The nose art was painted on both sides of the airplane, and it was done at the Atsugi, Japan US Navy Base. A couple of weeks later, the airplane with its nose art paintings was showcased at the decommission ceremony and festivities. 3 ½ inch woven patches of the nose art design were created and sold. Aircraft 710, S-3B Viking 160604 was painted over a two and a half week time frame. My crew and I sanded the complete jet on the first day/night. Prepared for paint on the second day. Started spraying the insignia blue upper half from the tail down to the nose on the third day. Prepared for the dark gray lower half and wings on the forth day, sprayed the dark gray on that night. Friday the fifth day removed all the tape and prepared for the Nose artist Laurie Dover who came in that Sunday. The nose art was done during the second week. We recieved the jet back for touch up and apply the finishing touches in two days, so it could fly for the photo shoot in front of Mt Fuji. With A/C 700 which was sanded and painted in three days.
