A great Flickr meet-up today: Ray and I visited Stokes Bay to have brunch with Jane Jainbow and her husband, Tim. The day was fine and plenty of space in the seaside garden of the Bayside Café .
We finally stopped talking and stirred ourselves to have a trip along the prom, breezy and fresh. A halfway stop took in more refreshments and a few photos, including the dog and the ice-cream, and this one, my favourite of Jane.
It rained on the way back to the car park but that was a minor detail - a lovely morning.
💙Thank you for visiting my photostream.💙💙

On Friday you feel exhausted from working all the week. But weekends are for relaxing, for having fun, they are for life... and on Sunday evening your battery is recharged, it feels like you are reborn...
I had a club night with friends yesterday. It was fun, I got home at 7 am and slept in today. This afternoon I had a meet up with a flickr member from Berlin. We talked about some plans for a common photo shoot, you will see...

I had the great fortune to meet up with two Flickr friends while I was in the neighborhood - Jeb and Christian. We enjoyed happy hour in The Castro and stopped in at The Cove for a bite to eat.

14 April 2007. Nijmegen Flickr Meet-up.
* for all my contacts that cant read Dutch : this picture was taken on a Flickr meet-up in Nijmegen, The Netherlands. (oldest Dutch city of 2001 years.). i dont know when this was built..somewhere in the 15th century i believe.. octagon? chapel in the Valkhof Park. this is a window in the tower of the chapel.. makes me think of the fairytale of goldenhair..
