Nellis is one of the hardest, most frustrating places I've ever shot at. The light is very tricky, and the runway is far away.
But, one of the most beloved departures at Nellis is the "Flex West" departure.

Ready for final assembly. Normally, a parallax correcting Ciro-flex does not have a field lens or Fresnel. This is an after-market add on such as a Hartley, found in this camera.
Missing some parts. I had to make those ground glass retaining springs. I made a few extra, because you never know when you might need one. The fascia plate screws are new. Ciro didn't use Phillips heads. I have a small quantity of these, 1" long, which I trim to whatever size I need.

Flex is a compact city bike. The intention of the design is to create a bicycle that has a whole form which is contrary to other bicycles that has many parts. The body is made of carbon fiber which forms on top of the fixed mechanical elements and connects between them. It combines the back fork and the chain cover into one element. Flex not only reduces noise but also creates a new iconic look.
