Badly worn antique silver Mappin and Webb tray before restoration.

I thrifted this amazing silverware chest a few months ago on Craigslist and I keep my knitting supplies in here, for the most part. There are three pull-out drawers, one with inlaid places to organize your flatware. In that one, I keep my nice needles, in the middle drawer my crappy metal needles and circulars, and the third drawer I keep my patterns, books and other oddments. In the space below I keep my separate bagged "projects-that-in-the-process-of-being-knitted." My knitting chest is so beautiful that it just sits out in the family room by the TV on display!
