Sunrise over Flathead Lake from Polson. It was interesting to me that it was really *quite* bright for a half an hour or more before the sun came up. But at the moment right before the sun came over the mountains the sky got these beautiful, delicate, shell-like shades of pink and lavender.

About 35 years ago I was at this same location and photographed (on film with a Ricoh XR2S and the Pentax M 40~80 lens) this same Flathead V8 engine buried in the sea wall. I somehow stumbled upon the same engine so many years later.
I wondered then, and have wondered many times over the years if someone might pull it out of the muck and resurrect it.
Guess it is doomed to remain forever entombed in the seawall.
