This was our destination, Polson, and we were sure hoping for some nice weather...it was nice in Missoula but it sure wasn't at Polson...lol Flathead Lake is the largest natural fresh water lake in the western United States, 27.3 miles long and 15.5 miles across.

I loved this day of biking. Because I'd gone way above and beyond my 75-mile-per day quota for the last few days, I had the luxury of taking it easy today. I stopped at every single state park I went past (3 total I think) and spent lots of time playing along the lake on the many road turnouts.
