I have a lovely flat file, that i bought for mere pennies...but it's been in a damp garage...so my drawers need airing.

i redid my flatfile which was holding a frog tank and junk for the past two years or so. now i have a painting table and no excuse for not painting all the time.
from the exhibit, Palimpsest. Fabric, glass, masking tape, powdered graphite.
I'm crazy about this piece.
They are each twice as big as the minimum of what we need, and we have two of them! Brian's prints needed a home badly. There is enough room now to store my oilcloth rolls, wrapping paper, some original linoleum blocks on top of the space for the prints.
Some guy on C-list posted these and I freaked out. Thanks, photographer guy!
Sarah designed and built this beautiful flatfile several years ago, and it has provided to be the perfect home for our collection of posters and other printed materials.
"The Flatfile" will serve as an online archive of it's contents – both so I can better keep track of them and to share with others.
El Studio - conversion of old machine shop to painting/printing studio. Walls constructed, everything painted, track and pendant lights installed, formica countertop worspace over flatfiles, movable wall/cabinets.
