The Loew's Kings Theater made it's grand opening in the year 1929. It was designed by the architectural firm "Rapp and Rapp" and and was part of the five "Loew's Wonder Theaters" in the New York metropolitan area. This movie theater showed now only movies but live vaudeville shows and had 3,676 seats. As of now the building has slowly decayed due to water damage. It was closed in 1977 due to the decreasing amount of customers and some also say due to constant shoot outs and acts of violence.
