A flashback to 3 years ago when I built a small scale prototype for this tool which was built shortly after. I shot some images to use with my summer light painting workshops. The first will be on July 8th and 9th in Okinawa, Japan and a second will be held on the other side of the world in Vancouver, Canada on the 5th and 6th of August. If you are interested in either send me an FM or contact the organizers.

I found this series of fashion shots for a range of clothes made of alpaca wool. We went out to visit Judy who keeps the alpacas at Wrington on a beautifully bright and warm early-summer's day.
Belle thought she could try both these at once - everybody liked the shot but it was not used for the campaign.

Então é isso :) bjosss
No light except for what daylight was leaking through boards that have covered the windows. Of course, there were also trees right outside which helped to cut down the light as well. But it DID make for some cool effects.
I was transferring photos today and saw this cutie pie, she was a visitor on our farm waaay back in 2011, now I can't remember her name, but cutie pie sounds about right to me.
Gouache and Ink on Book Page, 2011.
I made some meatloaf last night with ground beef that expired 5 days earlier. I was scared, but I haven't gotten sick yet. I'm gonna drink some coffee, put some pants on, and go to my job soon. Tonight I'll probably draw with these really neat Koh I Noor colored inks I bought, eat some more meatloaf, play Tetris Attack, and make a grocery list for tomorrow.

Candid street photography from Glasgow, Scotland.
As photographers we always self edit and ensure that the very best of our work gets published ahead of anything else, sometimes we self edit harshly and at other times, perhaps, not harshly enough.
My back catalogue of unpublished street shots is enormous and, looking back through them retrospectively, quite a few of them really are not too bad at all. Some were perhaps overlooked, forgotten or even just skipped for something slightly better at the time. I though I might publish some of these older shots for a 'Flashback Friday' album, I hope you don't mind. This shot is from last year (2017), in May.
I just love the expression on this young woman's face, it looks to me like she is not enjoying one or both of these modern addictions. Wishing you all a smashing weekend of photography my friends!

Oh wow....the 1st thing that came to mind when I saw this was....Hey!!!! this was me in the past....waking up with blurry vision and being among strangers...and wondering where the hell I was....and who the hell they were....lol....Man ya just gotta love it when nature brings back a flash from the past.....but in the most gentle of ways...
Have a great day folks... xox
Rewinding some old memories…

Was kann man mit einem 2016 Lightroom aus einem 2006er D80 RAW rausholen? Feinstes CCD-Rauschen in den Tiefen, Mikrokontrast nicht der Rede Wert... 😝
With all this talk about Laura and her Red Dress it made me think of a previous photo shoot. Jane pulled this dress from her wardrobe and said to try it on. it is amazing how sometimes like a wig a dress can make you feel so different and change your mood and attitude, This one certainly did.
This is one of the first photos i ever took when i purchased my canon 60D . And i have to say its still a favorite .Every time i look at it i laugh, I love my crazy hairded little guy !!
I'm hearing the aspen foliage is fantastic in the Elk Mountains this Fall...not sure it could be any better than it was on this trip in 2014
Wine-Down
After a long day of driving, traversing three high mountain passes totaling about 30,000 ft. of elevation, it was nice to reach the cabin in time to see the sun set behind the Elk Mountains.
After a quick change out of driving clothes, it was time to settle in and enjoy what turned out to be a crystal clear starlit night high up in the Rockies. What a place to wind down, with the best glass of wine EVER!
