“FUNCTION: SCIENTIST
'Tell me, Doctor, where are we going this time?'
No Autobot would ever claim to dislike Flashback. They just don't want to work with him. Flashback can be an experienced, battle-weary warrior in the morning and a young rookie eager to please in the afternoon. If Flashback is out of your field of vision for even a second, then you can't be sure where you are in his personal timeline the next time you see him. Given this, Optimus Prime lets Flashback operate mostly independently; providing Flashback support when he requests it, but mostly letting him go his own way. Which is good for Flashback, as he often has trouble figuring out which timeline he's in, and that can make one-on-one interactions awkward – 'Look, this might sound like a weird question, but just go with me: did Optimus have a blue and red flame paint job the last time you saw him?'”
Last of these for a while. But they're a lot of fun to come up with. Definitely more coming some day.
- "Have you played Another World 2?"
The year was 1993 and I was 15 years old. I had recently bought an Amiga 500 and I was visiting a friend to copy some games.
- "Another World 2? I haven't heard about that" I said, but it sounded to good to miss out on, so I copied it. Later when I started it up on my Amiga I was a bit disappointed when the game was not "Another World 2", like I suspected, but some game called "Flashback". The opening sequence was amazing and then the game started. I was hooked. Flashback is one of my all time favourite games. I actually bought the original game later. The first time I did that. I learned the hard way that new Amiga games on floppy disk wheren't write protected. So I got the Saddam-virus on my game disks and couldn't play it :(
I've replayed the game multiple times on many different platforms. I never grow tired of it.
I was very excited this summer when "Flashback 2" Was announced. Developed by Paul Cuisset's Miroids. They all seem to have forgotten that there was actually an official sequel called "Fade to Black" released in 1995, but I don't care. Just bring me more "Flashback", please! It will be released in "Winter 2022"... ok not many days left of winter 2022 now Microids. When is the release date?!

Here is a small tribute to one of the best games ever. Conrad Hart on his hoverbike.
Purists beware! This MOC contains a part with removed prints.
OMFG! I went to this garage sale and they had some dolls for $1, while looking I found Flashback Fever Sasha, and then there was Lilee wrapped in brand new plastic! I'm so excited to have them! <33

Rylan, Amy, Brie, Drew, Christie and Ryan
[about 3 weeks ago...]
Christie --- Here are the keys.
Ryan --- Everything you need to know is written in here.
[he hands Rylan a clipboard containing profiles of everyone in F2K]
Christie --- You guys think you can handle this for a few weeks?
Amy --- This isn't our first time. We're professionals.
Rylan --- We impersonate people for a living. Don't sweat a thing.
Brie --- So, if you don't mind me asking... Why are you all taking off?
Christie --- Just a little get away. Doing our own thing.
Brie --- Why not just tell everyone you're going on vacation?
Christie --- Well it's a little more than a vacation. I thought it'd be nice for Drew to get away till all the drama and whispers settled down.
Rylan --- Ah, since you... [he looks down at the clipboard to see her profile] pulled a Runaway Bride at your wedding.
Ryan --- Dude!
Rylan --- Hey... it's in her profile.
Drew ---- Yeah, I just need some time away from everything.
Brie --- So why not just tell everyone that? Wouldn't it be simpler that way?
Christie --- What is this? 21 questions!
Brie --- Just curious.
Drew --- [she turns to Christie & Ryan] Are you guys sure about this?
Amy--- No need to worry. When you come back everything will be just fine.
Christie --- [she puts her hand on Drew's shoulder] You hear that? No worries! Everything will be just fine.
[Drew, Christie and Ryan finish going over all their information with "the Gangers" then leave for their trip]
- - - - -
Amy --- This should be a fun one! Look, we're a couple this time.
Rylan --- There's some good lookin' girls in these profiles. So... if you don't mind my lady... I'm dumping you!
Amy --- [she laughs] What about me? I'm not into these guys here.
Brie --- Do you guys ever stick to the script?
Amy --- Look who's talking! I bet you won't either.
Rylan --- [he says in an announcers voice] Let the games begin...

Since today is Friday the 13th this Flashback Friday will follow today's theme by showcasing Jason from Friday the 13th.
This figure was a custom one off made in late October or early November. I'd seen other Jason Minifigures in the past and wanted to make this one a little different so I made the hockey mask by printing on a modified signal paddle.
After removing the handle from the paddle head I drilled a hole in a minifigure head and attached the modified signal paddle.
Once attached I gently heated the plastic with a heat gun and molded the plastic to shape the paddle to the head.
Once the plastic was cool again I removed the paddle, now a blank mask, from the head and printed the design. The band around the head is a modified BrickForge Goggle strap and both the finished mask and goggle strap were permanently affixed to the head.
I didn't have any machetes on hand so I modified what was probably an Orc sword.
Torso and Legs are stock printed parts.
Customer was happy, I was happy and the figure turned out better than either of us expected.
Anybody remember this troublesome serie of photos from summer 2015?
I'm sorry to tell you that the circumstances have been pretty much the same :-(
Until today!
Stay tuned and see Manna's revenge!
...coming soon..
Lei faceva chiamare a casa e io andavo a prenderla.

The image shows a corner of what appears to be a vintage shop or cafe.
The focal point is a dark brown wooden cabinet with glass doors, containing various items such as old records or papers. On top sits a vintage karaoke machine. Above the cabinet, a glass-fronted display case holds a collection of beer bottles. To the right of the cabinet, a small, dark-colored Red Bull mini-fridge rests on a simple wooden stool.
The walls are aged, with visible cracks and imperfections, contributing to an overall vintage or retro aesthetic. Plants are visible, adding a touch of life to the space. A "No Smoking" sign is prominently displayed. The overall mood is dark, moody, and nostalgic, suggesting a feeling of history and perhaps slow, quiet contemplation. The scene suggests a place that blends old and new, with the modern mini-fridge contrasting nicely against the vintage furniture and decor.

It's a vision of Farrah in her 60's heyday as a young Texan at the University of Texas! This Mattel Black Label Barbie was restyled and repainted by artist Noel Cruz in her early twenties! The University boys on campus used to watch Fawcett walk across campus and would line up just to ask for a date. Clearly Fawcett was destined for something other than life as a co-ed... and Hollywood soon started calling...

Looking through some old pictures and footage of the Occupy Wall Street days... I was just getting into shooting video at the time and I remember feeling compelled to go capture these moments. Today I'm looking at this and it's hard to believe this was almost 8 years ago!

Freightliner class 66 number 66518 hauls a train of 18 now redundant coal wagons past Copmanthorpe with the 6D66 0925 York Yard South (Fhh) to Shirebrook Davis & Son. After a long period of storage I anticipate that the wagons are to be repurposed into aggregate box wagons.
A flashback to My youth, the Grasshopper was My 1st. R/C car which You had to build, the Monster Beetle was My 2nd, I was surprised to see them on the shelf at Hobby Town in Kennesaw GA
Another flashback photo from an old photoshoot. I have not kept in contact with this model. She got married not too long after this shoot to a professional baseball player, who may still be playing (I do not follow baseball). But, life seems good for her.
Lennakatte n is the name of the symbolic steam train that leaves Uppsala to its suburbs everyday during the summertime.
D&H train 700, a unit sulfuric acid train to Baltimore, was rolling along Conrail's Reading Line in Lyons, Pennsylvania on a milky-white sky day in 1995.
A pair of dual flag CP Rail SD40-2s bookend a GATX leased SD40-2 towards Philadelphia, where it is always sunny.
From Philly to B-more, the train would travel on CSX rails.
A flashback to 3 years ago when I built a small scale prototype for this tool which was built shortly after. I shot some images to use with my summer light painting workshops. The first will be on July 8th and 9th in Okinawa, Japan and a second will be held on the other side of the world in Vancouver, Canada on the 5th and 6th of August. If you are interested in either send me an FM or contact the organizers.
