Here's a cute flashback photo of Jenna from May 2003 when she was still crawling around. Like any child, when she became mobile she was drawn to the staircase. We'd let her climb as long as we were around to watch closely (see Jennie there in the background-- say, "Hey, mom!"). We used to worry she'd attempt a stair climbing expedition on her own, but she never did. To this day, she hasn't fallen up or down the stairs. I wish I could say the same.
Julian at 8 months, and 2 days old, the same age as Sarah yesterday.
Looking a bit run down, he might have had a cold. Probably a bit tight, too.
A quick flashback to the beginning of summer, Brubba found a lizard in our house and brought him back outside. India Rose had a chance to touch one of her favorite animals. Our kids love to spend time outside together, playing soccer and digging in the dirt. #lizard #brotherandsister #play #nature #DearIndiaRose #wildflorida #soccer #family #fbf #flashbackfriday #siblinglove #Brubba #backyardadventures #happiness #animals #bigbrother Thanks for watching Dear India Rose! Playing outside in my PJs and sponge-rollers. Age - almost three?

This flashback photo was taken only a couple of weeks after Jenna was born in September 2002 and remains as one of my favorite "Kodak moments." Obviously, Jenna's hands were not under her own control, but dressed in this cute and colorful outfit combined with the "peace" sign made this such a memorable shot. Jennie actually gets photo credit on this one.
Well - what a disappointment this was. Firstly we were shocked to find out that you were NOT allowed to take alcohol into the festival like we have done in previous years. They were even searching camping chair bags to check for contraband. They did not even ask to see the tickets/wristbands. People were drinking their wine/beer they had brought to last them through the day and evening one swig after another rather than leave it behind. The reason they gave for not allowing alcohol was people behave badly - but then they provided booze tents.. so that argument doesn't hold any weight. 70% of the toilets were out of order and the rest were out of toilet roll. Staff walking around in ordinary clothes to spot people who had managed to sneak booze past them... and then bring the heavies in to remove them from the event. No big screens this year - food - well it was too expensive and too mediocre. Next year... we will be doing something else as they are keeping their 'new' rules... save your £40 a ticket and do something else.

I found a sweet batch of old family photos in an upstairs closet earlier this week, which included this amusing photo of myself enjoying some chocolate on Easter morning, circa April 1976. (I know this only because the date was stamped by the photo processor on the back of the print.) Jennie says that our daughter bares a strong resemblence to the young lad in this photo. What do ya think?
