I was inspired by the screensaver on my computer to do something fun with my Flickr site for 2006. The screensaver randomly plays photos that I've taken or scanned over the years. Since I've got a ton of really great photos, I decided to post an older image every Friday, starting with this one. These photos will be collected in a photo set called 'Flashback Folder' as well.
What better way to get this project going than with a baby picture of The Gus from March 2003. Before she started to crawl, Jenna would wail her arms and legs in an attempt to move. Here she is making an attempt to crawl for Pah-pah, who gets photo credit on this one.

Vandaag een heel oud fotootje uit 2007. Ik geloof dat dit de ochtend van mijn verjaardag was, samen met Sammie die daar bijna een jaar werd. Hij is een dag later jarig dan ik :-) Ik werd hier 21.
De foto is genomen in ons allereerste appartementje. De inrichting in de woonkamer was...
Julian at 6 months and 13 days, the same age as Sarah 3 days ago. When people ask what it's like to have a baby, I say it's like carrying a 20lb bag of rice. All day long.
Julian at 5 months and 9 days. A bit younger than Sarah, but, quite a bit larger. She was, though, more capable. He did, however, make up for it with enthusiasm.
Well - what a disappointment this was. Firstly we were shocked to find out that you were NOT allowed to take alcohol into the festival like we have done in previous years. They were even searching camping chair bags to check for contraband. They did not even ask to see the tickets/wristbands. People were drinking their wine/beer they had brought to last them through the day and evening one swig after another rather than leave it behind. The reason they gave for not allowing alcohol was people behave badly - but then they provided booze tents.. so that argument doesn't hold any weight. 70% of the toilets were out of order and the rest were out of toilet roll. Staff walking around in ordinary clothes to spot people who had managed to sneak booze past them... and then bring the heavies in to remove them from the event. No big screens this year - food - well it was too expensive and too mediocre. Next year... we will be doing something else as they are keeping their 'new' rules... save your £40 a ticket and do something else.
