A quick flashback to a photo I took back in June of my friend Kirsten. I think she's stunning :) I miss the long summer (colour filled) days. Now it's already cooler, constantly grey and its getting darker earlier. So crap as I don't have much time in the day to grab a sneaky shot without coming across as a bit of an odd one to my new friends :p
Hope you're all having a lovely autumn.
Flashback to last February when neon coloured snow flurries fell on the Granville Strip. This was a late Saturday night/Sunday morning when two blocks were closed to vehicle traffic by the VPD. Meteorologists are forecasting snow on Sunday. Are you ready for some football? Captured from Smithe & Granville Street in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada ~ February 18, 2018 ❄

On a cold and snowy day, a little flashback to warm us up... for a Smile on Saturday.... Algonquin sunset on Pog Lake last June
Seeing that tub hanging there reminded me of washing clothes with my grandmother when I was little. I'm really glad they invented washing machines =D. Have a great weekend all and thank you for stopping by!

Rocky & Stuart not too long after Stuart moved in. He was actually shorter than Rocky when we got him but grew up pretty quick and Rocky now routinely walks underneath him. Last count, Rocky was still 18 pounds and Stuart was 92.

Just dusting off my archives. Remembering the warmer days of summer. Brrrrr chilly here in Dixie, if it's gonna be 14 degrees, a little snow would be nice. It would definitely keep the stores busy, I haven't seen a milk and bread run for quite some time. LOL!

Along the north shore of Lake Ontario, on one of winters' coldest days, water from waves crashing against the rocky shoreline freezes quickly. This is a sharp contrast to the current humidex readings of around 40C / 90F in Southern Ontario and upper New York State.

As the current lockdown has given me some spare time , a look in the loft has found numerous boxes of slides. In amongst them i have found a few railway images taken from a good while ago. My scanner does not do this slide justice as regards quality but its the best I've got.

So this is one of my picks for today's Flashback Friday .. I will never forget when I went to see them in concert when this album came out .. My mom decided to call the radio station here when they were having a contest .. and she got through and got my cousins and I tickets to the sold out concert ..
I just so happened to see one of my neighbors there and she hung out with us .. little did I know that she would have a HUGE asthma attack and we got to go backstage and while we were back there guess who we met? Yep New Edition .. They came over to see if she was ok .. Thanks Nancy for a memorable night in my childhood lol
