i call it flashback cause the pink and purple remind me of the 80's. :p

I think AtGames has gone too far with the whole "Flashback" plug & play console thing...

This flashback photo is from February 1990 taken from my bed at Union Hospital. A day or two before this photo was taken I was being an idiot by sliding around in the hallways at school and broke my ankle in four places. I managed to dislocate my foot as well-- it was turned 180 degrees before the doctor in the ER snapped it back into place. All of this required many hours of surgery and the installation of a small rod and 10 screws. This photo is indeed a "painful" memory. By the way, that's not gloss on my mouth but rather a bit of petroleum jelly needed to help my severely chapped lips caused by the anesthesia.

Cut the top of the shirt off just below the sleeve, then made a gathered skirt portion (somewhere between 1.5-2 times her waste measurement), and added another band of ribbing at the bottom. It's too long, I need to go back and shorten it, and give it a good pressing, but just had to see her wear it, you know? This is the first pattern I have purchased and sewn--and I'm smitten. Thanks Rae!!

My mom took me to meetings and conferences throughout my childhood - this kiddo gave me a flashback of being a part of bigger things I didn't quite understand but could appreciate the importance of.
