Story: While covering spring in Benzie County for Pure Michigan I spent a lot of time at Upper Herring Lake Nature Preserve. In early June, a large area of wetlands fills with the blossoms of wild Blue Flag Irises (Iris virginica var shrevei) for a short period of intense beauty. This is my favorite image of one of these gorgeous flowers, taken from the boardwalk through the wetland.

Took this picture two summers ago on my boat. It's the Newfoundland flag we have on the boat.

This flag was stolen once by an anti-poverty group and later replaced.

Silver Dollar City, during the last weekend of Worldfest.

My company had an employee appreciation day at Six Flags over Texas today. As a result Malcolm had his first opportunity to ride children's rides and throughly enjoyed himself.
