These were stunning light fixtures in the back of the building. The bottom piece seemed to be blown swirled glass.

This light fixture was hanging and I had to take a photo of it. It just looks cool.

Custom Lighting Fixture in High-End Design House

The light fixture that was here had frayed and broken wires growing out of it... (um, fire hazard anyone?) So we ran an extension cord (bright orange!) up there and put in a new light.

...I'm a fan.

The abandoned Nightingale Hospital is nestled deep into the mountains of upstate New York. This small 124,000 square foot hospital is over 100 years old and sits on 124 acres of hillside property. It served as a nursing home in the 90's until finally closing in 2003.
