3238 seen receiving repairs at Go-Coach, Otford on 09/04/16, the key item being to fix the speedometer which stopped working the previous weekend. A couple of other issues have also been attended to.
The JM-300 Kite has a shrunken down body similar to the JM-500 Long Ranger, but utilizes 4 less powerful engines from the JM-100 Nimbus. This combination makes for a fast and maneuverable bike, best suited to urban environments.
This was built for the GTW LUG's Sci-Fi in a box contest. The rules stated that the MOC had to fit in a 10x10x10 stud box. I had intended to make a stand for this similar to the JM-500 LR, but I didn't have the parts to do so. I will fix this later and probably re shoot it.
Perhaps they should try fixing up what goes on inside........just sayin'!
A night shot of the Capitol building with scaffolding.
This was taken last year, but I've seen pics of the Capitol in the news lately, and it looks like they are still working on things.
Wikapedia facts:
The United States Capitol dome is the dome situated above the United States Capitol which reaches upwards to 288 feet (88 m) in height and 96 feet (29 m) in diameter.[1] The dome was designed by Thomas U. Walter, the fourth Architect of the Capitol, and constructed between 1855 and 1866 at a cost of $1,047,291 (equivalent to $220 million in 2013]The dome is not stone, but cast iron carefully painted to appear to be made of the same stone as the main capitol building. It is actually two domes, one inside the other, and the total weight is 14.1 million pounds (6,400 t).

When you try your best
but you don't succeed
When you get what you want
but not what you need
When you feel so tired
but you can't sleep
Stuck in reverse
Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
The Skylab model I’ve been working on (from purchased instructions) has been highly unstable and prone to breaking apart, almost as if it was de-orbiting over Australia. I spent some time tonight piecing it back together and decided to add a temporary support tower to bear the weight of the Apollo capsule. The module that the capsule docks with also precariously supports the solar panels and spontaneously detaches from the main body of the orbital lab. Undecided if I will have to resort to “The Kragle”.
I'm fixing a hole where the rain gets in
And stops my mind from wandering
Where will it go
I'm filling the cracks that ran through the door
And kept my mind from wandering
Where will it go
And it really doesn't matter if I'm wrong
I'm right
Where I belong I'm right
Where I belong.
See the people standing there who disagree and never win
And wonder why they don't get in my door.
I'm painting my room in the colourful way
And when my mind is wandering
There I will go.
And it really doesn't matter if
I'm wrong I'm right
Where I belong I'm right
Where I belong.
Silly people run around they worry me
And never ask me why they don't get past my door.
I'm taking the time for a number of things
That weren't important yesterday
And I still go.
I'm fixing a hole where the rain gets in
And stops my mind from wandering
Where it will go.

We are fixing up the area in front of the breezeway. Putting a cement pad down so I can get a nice little table and chair set put out there. Of course I'll have a plant on the table too. This all should be done by next weekend.

Music
Artist: Cold Play.
Song: Fix You.
When you try your best but you don't succeed
When you get what you want but not what you need
When you feel so tired but you can't sleep
Stuck in reverse.
And the tears come streaming down your face
When you lose something you can't replace
When you love someone but it goes to waste
Could it be worse?
Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you
And high up above earth or down below
When you're too in love to let it go
But if you never try you'll never know
Just what you're worth
Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you
Tears stream, down your face
When you lose something you cannot replace
Tears stream down your face and I...
Tears stream, down your face
I promise you I will learn from my mistakes
Tears stream down your face and I...
Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you.
