This is the rear of the LCD screen which was removed and given a good blow out with compressed air to clear one fairly obvious piece of dust.

This photo is just after the vet cut off the proud flesh. The proud flesh was there from the injury and was there when he got home.

The Spanish bayonet (yucca) in the foreground is a native species in the Southeast (here at it's most northern range), but it it typically planted as on ornamental shrub, elsewhere.

The Native Americans used the plant for fishing. Toxins can be extracted from the plants roots and stems to stun fish, and of course, the bayonet leaves can be fashioned as tools. Their points are extremely sharp; just ask any landscaper.

This shot was taken in the interior dune secton near False Cape State Park (about 4 miles north of the VA/NC border) which periodically floods from coastal storms/huricanes.

On the flight line at Lackland AFB, Texas, the 433rd Airlift Wing's C-5 Galaxy aircraft are fixed and flown daily. The 433rd AW is the world's training facility for C-5 air crew and flies missions in support of operations around the globe.
