Little man turned five - I can't believe it. Seems like just a few days ago that he was a tiny squirmy baby, and now he's a kid, not a baby or a toddler, but a kid. It's amazing how fast they grow.
Five minutes walk from our place is Plaza de la Trinidad, a bustling square with shops, excellent bars, and a prime site to watch the world go by as you eat a substantial breakfast (Desayuno Americano) at Cafe Guerro.

Day Five in Norway ... back on dry land, in Tromsø.
Day turned to evening, and we had another wander around the town looking for somewhere to have dinner. Friday night is obviously a big night out, because most of the restaurants and bars were full. We finally ended up back at Yona's Pizzeria, which is more or less part of the Radisson Blu. The pizzas were actually very nice, with a beer. The atmosphere was lively and informal.

La fascination qu'ont bourgeois pour l'usine et l'imagerie ouvrière en général m'a toujours fait rire.
Derrière moi, lors de la prise de cette photo, se tiennent des condos , des centaines de milions de dollars de condos et de meubles neufs appartenant à une nouvelle élite professionelle qui se met bien dans un quartier autrefois ouvrier et pauvre que l'on appelait St-Henry.
Avec les hells , la faim et la pauvreté, qui aurait cru que c'est enfait une petite classe de cadres dynamiques qui aurait la peau de ces ouvrier.e.s et de leurs enfants.
Quand je me suis retourné pour voir ces buildings neufs , incubateurs à petit.e.s nouveaux.elles riches, j'ai vue le reflet de la Five Roses dans leurs grandes vitres propres et je me suis fait sourrir a penser que toute la nuit, au moins, la lumière de l'usine faisait chier les bourgeois.
