My husband cooked dinner and it was his first time making five-spice pork. We didn't add dark soy sauce but it was still very yummy! I need to be more creative with vegetables however I liked them steamed and that's how I normally cook them.

Pen case pattern from a Japanese craft book. Nice, heavy cotton for the dots, with a stripey applique. The buttons are all vintage.
Part of the problem with only posting "sneak peeks" (what I've done in the past), is that you either forget to TAKE pics of the entire item (been there, done that) or you have a hard time finding the pics when it's time to post.
