The switches have now been mounted in the scratchplate ready for wiring. The apertures were cut to StewMac's dimensions, and they are a little too large so the tops of the switches have been painted black and so look much less obvious than they did two days ago!

Kathy sewed up the coat out of some old muslin to see how it fits first before cutting out the high priced satin. It is better to make some adjustments in the muslin, and then take it apart, using the chain stitch she sewed it up with, and then make the pattern using the pieces of muslin.
you know, I don't know what the fuck it is, but it seems like a good end-image for the solo rap series.
I can see a hand, and what looks like a kind of organic plant form or like a ghostly hooded serpent.
Anyway, the colors are oddly peace-inducing.

Measure and locate the correct position of the mount on the lower control arm and get ready to tack weld it in place.
The only thing I had laying around to fit the mount was this small magnet. It worked, but do yourself a favor and get a larger fitting magnet.
Don't forget to unclip and tie out of the way the ABS sensor wire and brake line. Also cover them with something to protect them from any welding spatter.
Rich S. fits a PA address system on one of the SUVs. This will allow us to holler at the riders while they are on the road.
Race Across America 2011
RAAM is a 3,000-mile single-stage cycling race across America. From the start in Oceanside, California, to the finish line in Annapolis, Maryland, RAAM athletes & crews race around the clock in an endurance challenge unlike any other.
I followed the RAAM adventures of British 4-man team Crank Addicts' as they charged across thirteen States to reach the finish line in just 6 days and 3 hours.

This was the last shot I took while leaving church.
I dont know if I believe god "talks" directly to people or not, but they only time I've ever truly felt in the "presence" of something was standing in this spot when I was 16 or 17, on Easter morning, waiting for churchgoers to arrive while my dad and other men prepared breakfast downstairs. The sun started to come through the stain glassed windows, and I felt SOMETHING, a "peace" perhaps.
Never felt it again.
The Edinburgh Hillsville United Methodist Church is the church that my father's father grew up in, and I have been going nearly every weekend I've been in town since I was born. For the last 15 years, my mother was frequently the second youngest person there after myself. The average number of churchgoers has been approximately 14 for as long as I can remember. My dad and I have mowed the lawns here and at the Hillsville cemetary since I was in 4th grade. Despite everyone having been invited to my home for my high school graduation party, the church insisted that they throw me my own graduation party after service in May, 1998.
With the costs of heating this past winter, and slowly dwindling financials, the board of trustees voted last winter to shut down after Christmas eve, reopen for easter until our pastor (who worked part time for the last 10+ years) retired this June.
These are photos from my last Easter at "my" church.
This isnt about my beliefs, or religion. This is about a family.
Just about there now. A bit more off the rear edge and then I can drill the first couple of holes. For the near side I think I will start from the bonnet / side panel junction and work from there. I'll see. It must be easier second time around........................
