I have had my Corn E sitting around since the original production run. I bought it along with the A Corn and the Corn Roc. For one reason or another, this one never got built.
The Saturday after next, my club will be doing an annual outreach event with the Medina Valley High School AFJROTC. The event is called the Cornfield Classic. I decided that, for the first time at that event, an ear of corn really needs to take to the air. I dusted off the box and got to work this evening.
First up was measuring down a 1/4" on the motor tube and making a slit for the hook.
First Flight 1936 Hammond 100 NC15771, Sat. April 29, 2022 at Massey Aerodrome. Owned by Rusty Lowry and Dave Baden. 100 hp Kinner engine. Possibly the only flying example of this type.
