“When all the world appears to be in a tumult, and nature itself is feeling the assault of climate change, the seasons retain their essential rhythm. Yes, fall gives us a premonition of winter, but then, winter will be forced to relent, once again, to the new beginnings of soft greens, longer light, and the sweet air of spring.” ~Madeleine M. Kunin

Ten more images of snowflakes that I took last Friday.
According to another photographer friend of mine, this image suffers from "chromatic abberation". I didn't know what this is until he pointed it out to me. This is not a black and white photo, although it looks like it is. It's just that the scarf was black and the snow is white. I THOUGHT the little bits of red and green were reflections from little fibers in the scarf that were the same colors, but apparently, it's a misreading of the camera's sensor, or something of that nature. I still don't understand much about it, but I don't mind that those colors are there. So, I'm leaving it. :)
A few blossoms are left on this, the first day of spring, but there are more on the ground that on the tree.
It won an award at last year's SFIAAFF and is beging to open in theaters on Friday
