I was strolling in Marina when I saw firemen doing some training. One of them climbed up to the top of the ladder and held a hose sprinkling water and creating this beautiful rainbow. His colleagues were looking up from below.

On Sunday afternoon a building which held the Appliance Service Center, A & B Pawn Shop and the Christ Fellowship Worship Center was destroied by a fire. The building which is located on Lowell Road near Cox Road in Ranlo caused traffic to be rerouted and train service to be stopped as firemen from all over the county fought the fire for hours. Here, firefighters retreat from their position on the roof as flames shoot out from the front of the Appliance Service Center.
Firemen giving a hand to dislodge a car from a patch of ice during the 1998 ice storm in Quebec. The fire truck stopped where I was standing, to give a hand.
This is a scan of a colour photo from that time.
These "Guys" were on it and definitely all business when they arrived. Thanks Cynthia Escalante Short for letting John (retired firefighter) on the street notify his old family where they should be attacking the flames when it was just a small cloud of smoke.
This awesome mural is in Richmond Indiana, on the Firehouse BBQ and Blues building. The only way I could get the entire mural was with my fisheye. This was from a trip down south in 2017.
On Sunday evening, there was a fire in my neighborhood. Thankfully, there were no deaths or serious injuries (from what I've heard) but, sadly, someone's home was horrifically damaged.

I think the man in the center was Jenny's father.
A tintype, also known as a melainotype or ferrotype, is a photograph made by creating a direct positive on a thin sheet of metal coated with a dark lacquer or enamel and used as the support for the photographic emulsion. Tintypes enjoyed their widest use during the 1860s and 1870s, but lesser use of the medium persisted into the early 20th century and it has been revived as a novelty and fine art form in the 21st.
Firemen dealing with the fire that consumed three homes and damaged adjacent homes.
Event occurred in my adjacent community, Meadows at Chestnut Ridge, in Magnolia, DE.
From www.mvls.info/ispy/fortplain/ftp_site08.html: The [ca.1830] Firemen's Home was a canal store when the Erie Canal flowed through town. It was built by Nathaniel Lipe who was a canal supplier. It was later given to the Fort Plain firemen to be used as a Fireman's Home. The bell in front was rung when the Fritcher Opera House and Union Hotel burned.
