I found it a little strange to find this fire hydrant in a natural forest area.

I tried to do one of those dramatic contrast-y images and make the hydrant look kinda grimy even though there's a pretty nice house in the background. Otherwise it's pretty boring...like my day has been...so this is all I got.

Never really noticed this hydrant until today, it's pretty interesting when you think about all of the things that you pass by every day...

This dog pen has its very own fire hydrant! Very clever. I wouldn't go anywhere near it.

We're Here! are photographing fire hydrants. I'm in the UK and can't find any round here. However we do have street furniture that identifies as fire hydrant. Note the F painted on the ground and the red band around the neck. This indicates "Identifies as Fire hydrant".
