Today's photo tour sends us to Disney's Art of Animation Resort for a shot of Mr. Ray. I spent hours one night roaming around the whole resort and I would have to say that it ranks in my top three Disney hotels to photograph. The larger then life characters allow for some really awesome photos. Does The Art of Animation rank in your top three? Have a magical day!

The former Living Seas Pavilion at EPCOT has seen a resurgence in popularity since the release of Finding Dory.

The fifth piece to the much larger puzzle exploring opposites within the worlds of Pixar films.

And this is all for Seb Mesnard's THE MOVIE SHOW! Check it out.

Peer pressure kicked in... if everybody else is doing it then I have to do it too. This is the third installment of the now famous lagoon shot by Ryan and Gregg. I'm not as happy with my version of the shot but I really liked the amazing sky we had that night.

Dory from Disney's Animal Kingdom'd production of Finding Nemo - The Musical! I love this show!!! The music was written by the husband and wife team Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez. He was also the composer of Avenue Q, one of my top musicals on Broadway. The Lopez team just won an Oscar for the song "Let it Go" from Frozen!

We went to the Sealife centre in Brighton today for some school holiday out and about fun.

First of all we parked along the seafront and the parking charges are absolutely disgusting, around 5 pounds for 2 hours WTF !

Anyway we had a nice but short (due to parking charges) walk around checking out all the fish.

I grabbed a few shots with a lot being hit or miss (mainly miss) due to the low light.

I had to up the ISO to around 1250-1600 and then rely upon VRII to try and get a couple of useable shots.

I don't normally go above ISO 400 on my camera as you can really notice that grain.

I would love to upgrade to a Nikon D800 as the useable high ISO's of around 3200-6400 would have brilliant for this situation.

I can dream can't I.

Even though Nemo is a little blurry I really like this shot which has a nice arty vibrant feel.

Oh and sorry for the original picture name lol.

Ok, in my defense, there are NO signs anywhere that say 'please do not say this sentence' at Disneyland.

While riding on Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage I noticed a scuba diver in the water. He looked just like the last one in the same spot I saw the previous trip. So, I turned to the Captain of the ship and said, Excuse me Mam, is that Scuba Diver dead? Ten saucer eyed kids stared at me then stared at the Captain awaiting her answer. No sir, she said, he is just resting. Ten kids with sweat on there brows all sighed in relief.

The ride ended and I was not convinced. It HAD to be the same Scuba Diver. I flew off the submarine and ran to the end of the line to ride again.

We soon came across the same Diver in the same spot. Once again I turned to the Captain, Mam I said, I really think that Scuba Diver is dead. Fifteen saucer eyed kids with tears on there cheeks stared at me, then at the captain to await her anwser. No sir she said through gritted teeth, he is just eating lunch. Fifteen saucer eyed kids with wet cheeks all sighed with relief.

There is no way he was eating lunch, his sandwich would get soggy. The ride ended and I ran to the end of the line to ride once more. I had to be sure.

Once again we came across the diver in the same spot. I turned to the Captain who was glaring at me, Mam, THAT Scuba Diver is DEAD! Twenty sets of saucered eyed kids stared at me, then at the Captain awaiting her answer. No SIR he is NOT ... I cut her off, No, Really Mam, rigor mortis has set in and everything! SIR she hollered, you have made EVERY kid on this Sub cry! I looked around me and replied, Technically all the kids passed out about a minute ago, it's the adults crying now.

With that, they opened the hatch and tossed me out of the sub.

So, the next time you are on Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage and you see a really ugly mermaid, thats me.

I had never even seen this show til last November but I really loved it. I have to see it each time we go back now. It's also really great for photos with all the costumes and colors. You don't even need a telephoto if you sit up close. Most of my shots were taken at 70mm on my 24-70. As always, thanks for looking!

I realized I haven't posted a shot from Future World from my most recent trip yet. As I was heading in to go on the Nemo ride, I saw the sun giving Spaceship Earth an orange glow and I thought it made a good backdrop for these seagulls from Finding Nemo.

Thanks for looking. I appreciate feedback!

A jelly fish in deep blue space...come across this only so many much in a life time.

Please add notes, comments and if you like favorite!

Thanks and have a great weekend

You have to love these characters from Finding Nemo. They really just make you want to laugh.

One really needs a fast lens to photograph that fish. F(ish)-stop speed is very important.

Hm... about four of you are laughing really hard right now! Such fine fish/photography related humor has a very niche audience.

Can't believe we're still baking out here in Southern California. Better head to the coast to cool off, especially since the summer crowds are gone. You just might be able to find a parking spot now.
