The Finding Nemo Submarine whizzes past as fireworks explode over It's a Small World.

Exploring the World under the Warm Sea in Sentosa Island while the maniac "Beast from the East" hits Europe ...

S.E.A. Aquarium in Sentosa Island is always Warm & Life from the Marine Park is bursting with bright colours. It's one of the largest oceanariums in the world with 100,000 marine animals of over 800 species in 49 habitats. The centrpiece of the Aquarium is the "Open Ocean" tank with more than 50,000 aquatic animals and strange photogenic creatures.

More than 100 sharks, from silvertip, sandbar & the endangered,strange-looking scalloped hammerhead, swim above your head in a massive habitat. It feels as if you are underwater with sharks swimming all around you.

Finding Nemo ... ?

The most famous reef-dwellers & movie stars Nemo,Merlin & Dory braved the "Sea Beasts",they were briskly swimming & circling around Sea Anemones in the warm waters of my collage-habitat ...

P.S. Finding Nemo is a 2003 American computer-animated film produced by Pixar Animation Studios & released by Walt Disney Pictures.

The submarines in Finding Nemo Lagoon wait for no man... or fish.

As you can see by the blend of very long exposures, this is a lovely place to relax, stand with your tripod for 45 minutes and relax.

If I remember correctly, this is a blend of 6 exposures processed in Photomatix, Layered with a darker image in Photoshop Elements then touched up in Photomatix.

Dory: I saw a boat.

Marlin: You did?

Dory: Yeah, it went by not too long ago. Follow me.

[few seconds later]

Dory: Would you quit it? What, the ocean isn't big enough for you or something like that? You got a problem? Huh? Do ya, do ya, do ya? You wanna piece of me? Yeah, yeah! Ooh, I'm scared now! What?

Marlin: What? You said you saw a boat.

Dory: A boat?

Marlin: YES.

Dory: Hey, I've seen a boat. It went by not too long ago. It went... this way. It went this way.

Marlin: Wait a minute, you already told me which way the boat went.

Dory: I did? Oh, no...

I am not interested!

This guy was obviously interested in a resting female. He flapped his wings back and hopped towards her, but when he reached her she showed no interest whatsoever!!!

He is my namesake......A brown pelican (voiced by Geoffrey Rush in an Australian accent) was illustrated as a friendly, virtuous talking character named Nigel in the animated children's film Finding Nemo, set in the Pacific Ocean near Australia, although only the white Australian pelican is known to occur in that country.

The brown pelican is a small pelican found in the Americas. It is one of the best known and most prominent birds found in the coastal areas of the southern and western United States. It is one of only three pelican species found in the Western Hemisphere and one of the only two that feeds by diving into the water.

The brown pelican lives on both coasts in the Americas. On the Atlantic Coast and Gulf Coast they distribute from Nova Scotia to Venezuela, and to the mouth of the Amazon River. Along the Atlantic, they are usually less common north of the Carolinas, with a considerable population in much of the Gulf of Mexico. On the Pacific Ocean they are found from British Columbia to northern Peru (populations found further south are now regarded as a separate species, the Peruvian pelican), and including the Galapagos Islands. In the Pacific, they are fairly common along the coast of California, Mexico and Central America.

There are eight species of pelican in the genus pelecanus which makes up the family Pelecanidae.

A Yellow-edged Moray (Gymnothorax flavimarginatus) is being cleaned by a Pacific Cleaner Shrimp (Lysmata amboinensis) on a Cleaning Station that is inhabited by Hinge-beak Shrimp (Rhynchocinetes durbanensis).

A cleaning station is a location where fish and other marine life congregate to be cleaned. The cleaning process includes the removal of parasites from the skin, inside the mouth and gills. When the fish approaches a cleaning station they will pose in an 'unnatural' way to show the cleaner shrimp that they want to be cleaned and pose no threat, this can be pointing in a strange direction and/or opening the mouth wide.

In the film Finding Nemo the character Jacques is based on the Pacific Cleaner Shrimp.

Tomorrowland at Disneyland is home to quite a few new(ish) or updated attractions (Nemo Subs, Astro Blasters, Star Tours, Monorail Trains, etc), but the empty people mover tracks still disappoints me.

An early wish for a happy Easter. Enjoy my eggs. I remember when I used to color eggs with Paas not a computer.

Happy Monorail Monday everyone! For today's shot I thought I'd do something from the lagoon during last week's wonderful sunny and warm weather. (I was wearing shorts since it was so warm!) I have to remind myself of days like this because today it's supposed to rain all day long and I'm not a big fan of it. The only upside to the rain in my opinion is the spectacular skies it produces. I have an ongoing observation, the day after it rains there is often a spectacular sunset (so naturally I'm going to go and try to shoot it Tuesday) so heres to seeing what happens! Have a great rest of the week and only two more days until the 24 hour day at the parks!

This is a 6 shot HDR, run though Photomatix and CS5.

Please don't hesitate to tell me what you think, comments and constructive criticism are welcome and appreciated! :)
