I don't just bake; I'm a vegetarian that cooks a mean steak. This is my man's birthday steak. A thick, butcher shop filet seared on one side with a nice crust then roasted to perfect doneness, drizzled with homemade chimichurri and topped with tomatillo-avocado salsa served with steamed brocolli and chipotle sweet potato fries. I have no idea what the steak tastes like but it's one of his favorite preparations so I guess it's good. I can vouch for all the rest; it rocks. I top my vegetarian "meat" the same way. Mmmmmmm.

Filet mignon (French for "cute fillet" or "dainty fillet") is a steak cut of beef taken from the smaller end of the tenderloin, or psoas major of the beef carcass, usually a steer or heifer. In French it is called filet de bœuf; filet mignon, when found on a menu in France, generally refers to pork rather than beef. ~ Wikipedia®

The Danish Hirtshals based pelagic purse seiner trawler Isafold in Lerwick harbour Shetland discharging herring to the Shetland Catch Factory. This was the first herring the Shetland catch had received in 2016. When the fish was pumped to the factory the herring was fileted and boxed and frozen. This was the Isafolds 2nd discharge of herring with the first being landed in Peterhead. The last photos in the album are of Isafold leaving Lerwick harbour via the north entrance heading out east to the herring fishing grounds. The Isafold is 76.25meter long 14.4meter breadth and was built by Karstensens Skibsværft A/S in Skagen Denmark and handed over to crew in May 2006.
