The MiG-17 was a 1950s era, Russian jet fighter with a top speed of 711mph. This aircraft put on a spectacular display during the Great Texas Airshow at Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph on Saturday, April 6th, 2024.

Testing both the Conformal Fuel Tanks (CFT) and huge 600gal wing tanks, this F-16 is loaded!
My first encounter with a Flanker...words are not enough, but hopefully my photographs will be. Breathtaking and exhilarating performance from a legendary aircraft. Many thanks to the Ukrainian Air Force and the organizers of the Bucharest International Air Show 2016 for this unique opportunity!

I shot this across the street from where I live in Philadelphia. The people in the photograph are neighbors who also came across the street from their houses. No traveling! They were also wearing masks and kept respectful distances of way more than six feet.
