Dassault Rafale A technology demonstrator was rolled out in December 1985 and made its first flight on July, 4th in 1986. It was flown at the Farnborough airshow a month later.
The airframe underwent extensive testing and was used until January 1994 when it was retired after 867 sorties.
It was 92nd prototype built by Dassault and is on display at the Musée de l'Air et de l'Espace, Le Bourget, France.
