Panning for gold...and Navy blue! Finally taught myself to pan fairly decently during this year's Chicago Air & Water Show. The Blue Angels fly over my house at 1,000 - 1,500 ft as they circle back to the crowds lining the shores of Lake Michigan, temporarily suspending flight paths into O'Hare Field. So we have our own back yard show :-). This is my best shot from many attempts at 300.0mm, the most my zoom lens can do...The team is supposed to be flying their less favorite Super Hornet by next year.

Eurofighter Typhoons photographed this morning from our garden, Mach loop, Wales

2024 marks the 50th anniversary of the F-16. Therefore, the USAF Viper Demo Team decided to paint their demo aircraft in the original colors of the YF-16, the experimental version of the F-16.

This was one of the red arrows that performed over the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2024.
