The Typhoon is the most advanced aircraft ever flown by the RAF. The aircraft is full of sensors and displays for the pilot who can plan and take part in defence or attack operations with aircraft they may never see. Typhoon utilises a unique Helmet Mounted Symbology System which presents the pilot with information on the screen of their helmet visor. It's quadruplex digital flight management system assists the pilot in all handling and manoeuvring.
A truly amazing aircraft which is now the backbone of UK air defence. There are 7 RAF squadrons flying this mighty aircraft from bases at Lossiemouth, near Inverness, and Conningsby in Lincolnshire. More than 100 of these fighters are planned to be our frontline through until at least the year 2030.
early Curtis fighters Hawk 75 exported to several countries pre war... had both fixed and retracting gear models.... obsolescent starting the war but still a maneuverable capable of holding its own even vs more modern foes... addition of inline engine turned it into the P40....rugged and available in numbers made up for its weaknesses at higher attitudes it became an formidable fighter...

Foto-Buddies Project 52, Week#49: X10 Adv. - High Key
The next task in my "Fuji X10 Advance Feature" series is the x10's "High Key" feature.
I was most excited about this feature of the x10 because I have always wanted to come up with high key shots. While the x10's high key filter certainly made things brighter, I still couldn't come up with the high key shots that I wanted. This is the best high key photo I could come up with. I had to convert it to black and white on post though. Still, my model, Chibi DyDy, is the cutest.
