Black & White and color By calculating the

exposure of light.

The other important point in taking a good photo and the composition.

The classic mistake is to rush when a scene seems interesting, we do not check the edges of the canal and try to fit as many elements as possible in the direction no we have to make a choice and it is arranged to organize the together.

at first it is preferable to eliminate from the case anything that is parasitic when reading the image by placing yourself judiciously.

I never use zooms, Than fixed lenses Which forces me to build my image in other words I learn to zoom with my feet.

On our 2h30 drive to our chosen destination, Robin Hood's Bay, on the beautiful North-Yorkshire Heritage Coast, we passed this, in an excited rush to get there, I saw it only in a flash...

We tracked back asap. I mean I've seen so many yellow fields and red fields, but NEVER a mixed field, it was humming, WILD FLOWERS more than rapeseed, I guess an eco-field?

Whatever... it was a photographer's delight.

Have a bright day and thank you, M, (*_*)

This image was captured on a cold and wet winter's evening up along the Old Kenmare Road in County Kerry, Ireland at an area known as the Crinnagh Fields.

Single RAW file captured on a Canon 6D with a Canon 16-35mm ƒ/4 lens. No filters were used when shooting on account of the fact that it was raining and it was hard enough trying to keep the lens clear of water droplets, never mind the filters!

Processed in Adobe Lightroom and converted to Black & White using NiK Silver Efex Pro.

This springtime field managed to bring all my senses to a heightened pitch.

Lupine field near Skaftafell, Iceland at sunset. This shot was taken during the midnight sun season around 12:00pm.

Campo de lupinus (altramuz) cerca de Skaftafell, Islandia durante la puesta de sol. La foto fue tomada alrrededor de las 12:00pm durante la temporada del "sol de medianoche".

So I liked the golden fields here so I did two versions. Which is better?

This image is nothing exciting but I'm trying to get motivated lately to think more about what I want to shoot, how I want to shoot and then set about shooting it. I waste far too much time reading about photography on the net.

This image has elements that I like. Some of the light and shadow play is nice, the warm colours are nice, the haze is nice and the contours in the distance are something I like.

This image overall is only so, so but it is a reminder to me to seek out these kind of scenes and to plan my attack rather than spend my days reading crap on the net.

Leaving on holidays...so no flickr time in the upcoming weeks..have a nice holiday to everyone!
