Having fun with a new aquisition, a Sigma 150-600mm lens that despite its size it's not as heavy as I thought. This image was taken somewhere near home on a daily walk with my dog.

A "Meet Your Neighbours" image of a damselfly having recently emerged from it's exuvia. It has just about been possible to show the white tubes that were pulled from the body, leaving small holes (spiracles) on the surface of the adult through which it will breath.

Went for a New Year's walk today. The low sun this time of year provides lots of color even though I was out around noon.
