Une amusante carte finlandaise pour symboliser le dynamisme des 2 personnes âgées : "juste un peu de vie" :-)
I have wanted to get into portraiture for ages and was delighted when Fi asked if I'd do some photos of her. She is a great friend, an actress, a re-enacter, and a lover of costume. She's also gorgeous. How could I refuse?
So the other day I went over to her house and took lots and lots of photos. We started with the simple, unmade-up look and moved on to the more sultry. The only light was from her bedroom window - outside which, on the scaffolding, replacing the windows, was her husband! It was quite a dull day and the light wasn't as good as I'd have liked but with a bit of careful positioning and the occasional use of a reflector, we got quite a few shots that we both liked.
We're already planning the next session!
Started in 1983, the original charity race was organized with the goal of helping families of the 241 American service members killed in the bombing attack on the Marine barracks in Beirut. Today, the purpose of the race is to give back to the Pensacola community that so willingly supports Marine training. All proceeds go directly to local outreach programs.
