Max and Chelsea playing fetch at the park next door. They love it. I just remember when we got the house we were so happy to have a park right next to the house so we could take the dogs for a quick fetch game or a quicky as I call it.
a friend's golden retriever doing what she does best! if it's not her mom's shoe, it'll be a piece of braai wood in the mouth. such a sweet, gentle soul.
Playing with the dogs (and my camera) in the park. Wanted to try the AI Focus mode but was slightly disappointed with the results. Maybe I was doing it wrong.
We took Spirit out for the first time today, she was good as gold. I think she is going to be a very natural retriever as she brought her treat pot back to Graham every time he threw it :-)
She has already learnt sit, down, come and we are working on wait (all for food of course)
Her new favorite game. She carries the stuffed mouse over and drops it at your feet. Says "mmrw?" like, "we playin'?" Will fetch it over and over again. When she's finally done she hides it behind a pillow.

No one believes me when I say I had a cat that would 'fetch'. Well, here's the proof.
The blue thing is the tear-off seal from a jug of milk. When she was younger, she actually would go find it if I said "where's your blue thing?" or "where's your toy?". Of course, when she was younger , there was a lot more running, jumping, and bouncing off the walls.
We brought my brother's dog Desty to the park to play ball. She LOVES to run and fetch the ball. My brother has a ball thrower that helps give extra distance and she loved chasing down that ball. Except when she couldn't find it and just ran in circles.
