a friend's golden retriever doing what she does best! if it's not her mom's shoe, it'll be a piece of braai wood in the mouth. such a sweet, gentle soul.
We didn't have to leave for Bicester until 10.45am, so I had time to sort out the insurance for the new car this morning. We had a fun time with Smaller Miss, and then I drove to school (with her in Lucas's car seat and another for her sister) to fetch Little Miss. It was raining, hence the car journey. We had a little while to wait, so I got out the Silly Putty which I keep in the car for such occasions, which passed the time nicely. Back at their house, we played with Playmobil for most of the rest of the afternoon.
We got home at about 7pm, and after our meal, I went for a walk around the village. The moon wasn't quite up by then, but I looked out of the window a bit later, and remembered I hadn't got a selfie, so bagged one quickly!
We took Spirit out for the first time today, she was good as gold. I think she is going to be a very natural retriever as she brought her treat pot back to Graham every time he threw it :-)
She has already learnt sit, down, come and we are working on wait (all for food of course)
No one believes me when I say I had a cat that would 'fetch'. Well, here's the proof.
The blue thing is the tear-off seal from a jug of milk. When she was younger, she actually would go find it if I said "where's your blue thing?" or "where's your toy?". Of course, when she was younger , there was a lot more running, jumping, and bouncing off the walls.
Ohhhhh, it makes Buckley so GREEN with envy...!
Ben sometimes doesn't like to give more favored fetch toys - like this rubber stick - back. They're more fun to chew!
Fun with a dog, an Orange Lacrosse Ball, and slow exposure values.
This one was 1.3 seconds.
