When it's in the -10's and -20's, none of us really wants to go out for long walks and play sessions. That's when Bogart burns off energy fetching the ball thrown down the stairs.

Taken at Cloisters bar.

While at the beach practicing with my zoom on some seagulls, this dog and his owner came along. The owner was proud of his award winning show dog. He insisted that I take some photos of it retrieving the stick.

Message:

The simplistic life of a dog. Fetch to a dog is like winning a million dollars for a human. They're just happy creatures and this photo shows that.

Navi will play until she is so tired she pants like a dog.

Playing fetch with black lab

Dog with skills. I don't know how he can smell a wet ball in the sea and eventually find it, it's like searching for an ant on a black stone.

"I haz ball. You haz throwing arm. Yes?"

The gryphon is, of course, my own work. This is a replacement for an earlier shot of slightly less professional quality (My husband is good and has a high-end camera, but there are limits)

Nala had a santa scarf and hat for Christmas, but she'd rather play fetch with it than wear it.
