Roxy's first time water retrieving. "Throw the ball!"

The dogs are normally with me when I am out with the camera and for most of the time we get on pretty well. I am used to settling down, focusing on a subject only to have a stick dropped on my foot and a wet nose stuck up my trouser leg!

It can get a bit difficult sometimes, but not as difficult as leaving the dogs behind.

As far as I am aware, Dark Bush-crickets don't fetch sticks!

Far Fetched Antiques is one of the more intriguing stores in Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia. Most of the items, like these horses, come from the far east.

From a family trip to Portland, Dorset.

Hubby playing fetch with the boys. Toby, left, returning with a ball. There’s at least one or two more out there somewhere, so each dog has an equal opportunity to play.

While Riley (younger) is faster, Toby has more drive.

Ohana's fetching a stick on a beach between Bidart and Biarritz in the French Basque Country

Bolinas, CA

Today the four of us walked from Southease in a circle via Rodmell the downs to Telscombe and then back to the river and to the cars. It started of really cold and misty but the sun came out and it was a really beautiful day with loads to see and photograph and as always great company. So a real mix of images for the day some of my usual suspects and a few unusual ones.

She fetches, but she rarely brings it back to me lol. Marlee- 8 weeks 5 days old.

Fun in the sun.

Out for a walk on Rhyl Beach and Rhudlan Golf Course to see what sights I can snap...

Cool thing about this game is that you can eat the ball.

I was going to choose the best of my series but really couldn't choose ... so this is a limited set.

I came across this family while I was walking the dog tonight. I'm not brave enough for street photography but as they had their backs to me I was happy to shoot :-)

After our paddleboarding trip around Alta Lake, we saw this dog chasing tennis balls into the lake. He surprised everyone with a ladder climb out of the lake to return the ball for another throw.

Sven learning how to play fetch. He is quite a star! ~ a search for 'snoogly' over at youtube will lead you to a feast of Sven videos.
