I was going to choose the best of my series but really couldn't choose ... so this is a limited set.
I came across this family while I was walking the dog tonight. I'm not brave enough for street photography but as they had their backs to me I was happy to shoot :-)
I encounted two dogs and their people on the beach yesterday evening -- they seemed to be having a lot of fun!

... shouted his master ... so he did ... even though he had to jump in the lake to do so, Brrrr. Rather he than me though.

This doggie went to fetch balls in the cold water for his master for the hour that I was there. I thought it was way too cold to be swimming. He would jump off the deep end to get it and than come back up the people steps and jump again.
The man at the top left had two dogs with him - a black labrador type dog and a black dachshund.
He kept throwing something down the hill and the labrador would go and fetch it. Then he'd throw it again and the labrador would look at him and say "What did you do that for? I only just fetched that?"
Can't see where the dachshund is on this, but I would love to know how many tiny dachshund steps it takes to climb the Wrekin. :o)
