This is not my doggie, but she came up to me while I was laying in the grass and brought her ball. We played fetch for awhile...she was so sweet! :D
Sequence photography; created using 5 separate photographs and combined together in Photoshop. Also HDR.
KT's favorite toy is a "bear" that is actually a pig. She likes us to throw it so she can bring it back to us. We also hide it somewhere and tell her to go find it, which she does with dogged determination. We got another one that looks just like it -- she'll have nothing to do with the new one -- it's a phony, according to her.
Just some kid having fun with his dog. Pax & I had a few hours to kill before the wedding, so we went wandering around the lakefront.

The light makes it look so warm... you can't even tell that I had no feeling left in my hands.

Trooper, the brumby dog. My little horse will carry things in his mouth when we go on walks. He particularly likes sticks. I don't know for sure but in the wild he would have been teething on tree bark and I'm not sure if that is what's happening now as his new adult teeth come in.
Fetching the fetch

Ebro Delta, Spain

During our field trip to the Ebro basin, we learned about the challenge of supplying water for various competing demands (e.g. agriculture, industry, cities, and environment). We saw the tourism industry flourish in the upper basin area because of its rapidly moving waters which attracts many rafting and kayak enthusiasts. In the mid level portion of the basin we saw the agro industrial and urban thirst for water. In the lower basin, water is needed for agricultural production and for wetland nature reserves. This picture depicts WSPMers walking to the sea where the Ebro river empties itself.
