the dog's owner is holding the tennis racket. the dog fetched the ball (out of screen left), dropped it, and went running to somebody on the beach.

The dogs are normally with me when I am out with the camera and for most of the time we get on pretty well. I am used to settling down, focusing on a subject only to have a stick dropped on my foot and a wet nose stuck up my trouser leg!
It can get a bit difficult sometimes, but not as difficult as leaving the dogs behind.
As far as I am aware, Dark Bush-crickets don't fetch sticks!
Far Fetched Antiques is one of the more intriguing stores in Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia. Most of the items, like these horses, come from the far east.
Hubby playing fetch with the boys. Toby, left, returning with a ball. There’s at least one or two more out there somewhere, so each dog has an equal opportunity to play.
While Riley (younger) is faster, Toby has more drive.

Today the four of us walked from Southease in a circle via Rodmell the downs to Telscombe and then back to the river and to the cars. It started of really cold and misty but the sun came out and it was a really beautiful day with loads to see and photograph and as always great company. So a real mix of images for the day some of my usual suspects and a few unusual ones.
This couple and their dog were making their own amusement with a driftwood sculpture someone had lovingly made......!!
