RMC Tokina 35-70mm 3.5 M42 mount manual focus lens. I didn't notice until I downloaded this photo that I'd taken it just as my son snapped the stick in half, but you can see the sawdust from the break hanging in the air.

The dog Monroe returning his fetch toy to his master.

One thing I always notice about Hollingworth Lake is so many people walking with dogs. Not just that, but playing the old game of fetch and throwing things in the lake for the dogs to chase. Thankfully it's quite shallow here!

Sometimes dogs chase stuff that is way to big for them to catch. My question is always, what will they do when they get it? My tiny little dog used to chase / bark at birds that were much bigger than he was. It was funny.

Cleo is 10, and she has arthritis and bad hips. She runs two miles with me in the morning, and she's a crazed ball chaser. She hobbles after these balls, and my heart breaks for her. It's clear she's in pain, but she won't stop chasing them and barks incessantly if you don't throw for her.
