The Fernsehturm (television tower) is a must-see for every Berlin-lover, as it allows for the best views over the entire city, especially on clear days.
Der Fernsehturm Stuttgart, erbaut 1954, ist ein markantes Wahrzeichen der Stadt. Mit einer Höhe von 217 Metern bietet er einen atemberaubenden Blick über Stuttgart und die umliegende Landschaft. Der Turm beherbergt auch ein Restaurant und eine Aussichtsplattform, die Besucher anlocken. Seine einzigartige Architektur und seine Rolle als Kommunikationszentrum machen ihn zu einem bedeutenden Teil der städtischen Skyline.
Der Berliner Fernsehturm ist mit 368 Metern das höchste Bauwerk Deutschlands und das vierthöchste nicht abgespannte Bauwerk Europas. Er wurde im historischen Zentrum Berlins im Ortsteil Mitte (Bezirk Mitte) direkt neben der mittelalterlichen Marienkirche in Nachbarschaft zum Roten Rathaus und unmittelbar westlich des Alexanderplatzes errichtet. Betreiber und Eigentümer der Anlage ist die Deutsche Funkturm GmbH (DFMG) mit Sitz in Münster, ein Tochterunternehmen der Deutschen Telekom AG. Der Turm gehört zur World Federation of Great Towers.
