One of the best things of flickr is how we cheer each other on to improve our photographic skills. It is really rewarding when you get all that positive feedback.

Why don’t we do the same with other aspects of our life? Why don’t we make this the positive feedback week!

Why am I going on about positive feedback you say? Well last week a new client came in to our office because he received a tax notice and wanted to get all his taxes up to date. He came in last Friday and sent me this email over the weekend:

“Thanks for taking care of my "emergency" return so fast. You did in 4 hours what my ex CPA couldn't do in 4 years. Your easy, calm insight, and a commanding knowledge of the system, combined with no drama or theatrics, made my experience there so pleasant. I appreciate that so much. All I was looking for was competence, yet I found expertise. A very pleasant surprise in this uncertain world. How often do you receive more than you were expecting these days? it's rare. You are "the man". Looking forward to all that lies ahead.”

I loved his email so much that I asked permission to share it. Pay it forward with positive feedback!

My third (and fourth) CC-standard build, based off of the classic American diners and Art Deco movie theaters of the 1930s and 40s.

Perspective with people.

Based on some of the feedback I have gotten, I have decided to publish this creation on CUUSOO - click here if you want to vote for it!

Thank you to everyone who takes time to view and comment on my work. Any critique or feedback is welcomed or feel free to browse my other galleries at kdp450.smugmug.com which are constantly changing. Most recent postings can by found in the "Recent Postings (Not Dailies)" gallery.

Comments always appreciated, as long as you keep it clean - I love to hear your feedback! xx

Back in black, my lovely lace dress with the asymmetrical hemline.

A major problem about posting on Flickr is how little constructive feedback is offered to photographers by the viewers. I know from experience that a lot of members are really sensitive to constructive criticism, which sadly limits their potential to develop their skills. Hence the typical comment "Beautiful image", "Outstanding work", "Awesome", etc. on all images, regardless if good or bad, snapshot or masterpiece.

I am indebted to one of my Flickr friends for suggesting I try a different crop on one of the images I previously posted on Flickr. You can see the previous crop below. I think you will agree that the suggested change made for a much more compelling image. Thanks Robert.

Just another morning shot.

No good foreground but i loved the light in the horizon, and the lovely golden tones there:)

I'm busy as a bee at the moment and i can't reach everyone, sory for that.

Anyway, have a wonderful weekend and thanks for feedback/Comments and faves:) It's highly appreciated:)

Take care.

I have been disconnected from flickr for a whole week, becouse in my house at college we don't have internet conection right now. I hope we will on Monday or Tuesday.

The fact is, I do not forgot you guys, and it will be hard, but I will try to view every new photo from my contacts and give you a comment.

Some of you sent me a Flickrmail this week, and I will reply it, and all of this stuff

At last, it's all a lot of accumulated text pending to being written. On Flickr, and on the new year at college! (and I hope this will be the last)

Hope you like the photo guys!

60 degree temps on Saturday & Sunday morning snow!

What a fantastic weekend of photography in Yosemite.

Jean Day and myself headed up to Tunnel View in the mid morning, in hopes of a break in the storm.

Mother nature did not let us down. Only after a few min's the clouds broke up & offered up some classic views at this iconic spot.

Monochrome was the clear choice in this situation.

Thanks for your comments & feedback!

Hey babes! I have been out of the loop on mer creation in SL for a LONG wile and I'll be dropping this as a freebie soon in order to gauge all interested parties looking to give feedback!!

Looking to hear about the fit, the rigging, the quality of the meshes shape and rigging, and the quality of the texture... Please let me know if you feel it has the potential to be a tail you would wear in the future if updated!

***Please keep in mind a few things moving forward***

This mesh tail was originally meant to fit Lara body in sizes and there isn't currently a "male" counterpart. it never even had the chance to be rigged to the bento bones and also doesn't work with sizing sliders.

With that being said, this tail is a 5joint rig!

for those who don't know... "5joint" mertail rigging is positioning the leg bones to act as a bento tail bone, there is currently only 1 AO available on market that has the option of 5 joint animations and that's the Tala AO found here.

marketplace.secondlife.com/p/Mermaid-AO-Tala-AO/7823449

An original AO previously on market known as the "5joint AO" has been removed by it's creator, however many of us still own it and it also works perfectly with this tail's rigging, but I understand that the original 5joint AO is also having scripting ERROR issues!!!

This can be fixed FIY♥ by turning off script errors in your preferences under your notifications tab.

Another thing to keep in mind during your feedback is mesh art styles! Some creators like myself lean more on the textures to carry the mesh rather then others who enjoy sculpting every detail into the mesh neither is right or wrong just personal preference for the creator.

Please feel free to contact me in-world via IM or NC if you're interested in early access to this tail or have any questions.

Perms will be mod,copy only

Much love♥

xoxo

"Hello there."

It was my first year of construction and I totally love it. I met a lot of awesome people from our community. I got tons of positive feedback and I started to create a community that willingly follows my work. I'm glad to be part of our AFOLs world. I really enjoyed creating Star Wars and Chrismtas MOCs in 2019.

This year I will continue my work! I have a lot of ideas from SW and many other Universe. I would like to improve my building skills and start using and inventing more advanced techniques.

I hope you will like it!

I wish you all the best for the New Year!

Dove Lake Boat Shed : Tasmania , 2008

I wanted to post this to get some feedback about wether people prefer this shot which is from a single RAW and tweaked on photoshop vs the image below which has been merged with a 3 shot HDR tonemapped in photomatix. I'm thinking of submitting some images to this year's ANZANG and this could be one of them I'm thinking.

Image was taken in a short reprieve at about 530am on a freezing tassie morning in late spring. We walked through snow from waldheim chalet ( about 1 hour ) to get to this spot before heading back , sleeping, and starting the overland track!

I testing different forms on Roof for one of my new projects. The colors will be use at new Building. Hopefully some people will find it useful. Please give my your feedback.

Created using camera-less feedback technique.

Side View- Both arm systems

If you don't mind, let me know which one you think looks better. I have merged a lego torso with a minifig.cat figure torso so I kept the ball joint system in tact. On the left is my lego arms with the joints in there and on the right is minifg.cat arms with the elbow joints. The torso's will be fixed and colored so please just tell me what you think of the arms. I will also do something with the neck joint soon. Arms first.

Fine tuning some details on my display and need second opinions/ input on these flames.

Here's more of a close up. Please note that Lego trans colours tend to look slightly different when photgraphed (especially with a crappy camera like mine).

Not really interested in fav's/ "your the greatest" garbage or stuff like that just honest opinion on whether this combination looks okay/ realistic.

I found the feedback Liz gave about achieving texture in trees and plants very helpful. I experimented a bit with different techniques today!

Porsche LMP2000 (Type 9R3)

First public appearance as part of the 70th anniversary celebrations of Porsche.

The Porsche LMP2000 (also known as the Porsche 9R3) was a Le Mans Prototype racing car that was developed between 1998 and 2000, but never raced. One car was built, and it was designed around a modified version of Porsche's 3.5-litre V10 engine that was originally designed for Formula 1 in 1992. The project was cancelled before the car was built, leading to various rumours about the reason for its demise.

In 1998 Porsche designed a Le Mans Prototype for the following season, assigning it the codename 9R3. It was initially to use a modified version of the turbocharged flat-six engine found in the Porsche 911 road car, but, although the design was completed in November 1998, Porsche opted against building the car. Due to the inherent flaws of using the heavy flat-six and the extra cooling the engine would've needed, Porsche instead redeveloped the 3.5-litre V10 engine that was originally developed in 1992 for Formula One, to replace the V12 used by Footwork Arrows; it was redesigned for both 5-litre and 5.5-litre capacities, and the pneumatic valve springs were removed, as the air restrictors mandated under LMP regulations made them redundant. The chassis was unaltered apart from suspension geometry for newer tyres and the engine mountings to accommodate the new engine. In May 1999 the project was halted, but the chassis was completed and underwent a two-day private test, driven by Allan McNish and Bob Wollek who reportedly gave positive feedback.

Despite Porsche's initial denial of the 9R3's existence rumours circulated about its cancellation including: the engineers were diverted to the Porsche Cayenne SUV project; to avoid competing with its Audi R8 stablemate which won the 2000 24 Hours of Le Mans; insufficient competition after the withdrawal of BMW, Toyota, Nissan and Mercedes-Benz. The engine from the car was used in the Porsche Carrera GT concept car and was detuned for the production version.
