Hello, im trying to make a version of the y-wing based mostly on the latest ucs version using only my bulk legos. So with my limited resources, here’s where I am. The cockpit, this is my first attempt and can’t decide if it passes the good enough test. I’ve cut up some of my LEGO stickers for added detail. Please give me feedback on the weaknesses of my design w the cockpit glass and behind in the cabin. Is it too blocky, choppy, doesn’t flow, more flat, less stickers. Etc. I’m looking for constructive criticism. Any help would be appreciated thank you

Fine tuning some details on my display and need second opinions/ input on these flames.

Here's what the entire scene looks like....French Resistance are fire bombing a German halftrack from the balcony above.

Not really interested in fav's/ "your the greatest" garbage or stuff like that just honest opinion on whether this combination looks okay/ realistic.

Since I've had so much positive feedback with art I've created with oil pastels, as of late, I'm continue to sketch away with them! So, this is another scene I've just completed recently. I've named it "The Seashore" Originally, I was going to put some smaller rocks and bushes, shrubs and grasses in the foreground. But, I instead put a few big Rocks. FYI: I use Oil Pastels for this scene, but finish it with white Chalk Pastels, for highlighting, with the use of my fingernail too, to remove some of the medium which adds highlight also. The chalk is really good for adding highlight glow to the clouds. Thank you for looking. :-) Your artsy buddy, Artist Dan Seitzinger - My website: www.danseitzinger.com

I have been disconnected from flickr for a whole week, becouse in my house at college we don't have internet conection right now. I hope we will on Monday or Tuesday.

The fact is, I do not forgot you guys, and it will be hard, but I will try to view every new photo from my contacts and give you a comment.

Some of you sent me a Flickrmail this week, and I will reply it, and all of this stuff

At last, it's all a lot of accumulated text pending to being written. On Flickr, and on the new year at college! (and I hope this will be the last)

Hope you like the photo guys!

A major problem about posting on Flickr is how little constructive feedback is offered to photographers by the viewers. I know from experience that a lot of members are really sensitive to constructive criticism, which sadly limits their potential to develop their skills. Hence the typical comment "Beautiful image", "Outstanding work", "Awesome", etc. on all images, regardless if good or bad, snapshot or masterpiece.

I am indebted to one of my Flickr friends for suggesting I try a different crop on one of the images I previously posted on Flickr. You can see the previous crop below. I think you will agree that the suggested change made for a much more compelling image. Thanks Robert.

Frontal View- Both arm systems.

If you don't mind, let me know which one you think looks better. I have merged a lego torso with a minifig.cat figure torso so I kept the ball joint system in tact. On the left is my lego arms with the joints in there and on the right is minifg.cat arms with the elbow joints. The torso's will be fixed and colored so please just tell me what you think of the arms. I will also do something with the neck joint soon. Arms first.

Also, I know that the lego arms seem farther away from the body but when u attach a shoulder pad to the arms, due to the thickness of the minfig.cat shoudlers, they end up being the same distance away from the torso, so ultimatlety, they look similar with attachments on there.

Comments always appreciated - I love to hear your feedback! xx

Trisha, one of our good friends who we see regularly in Leeds and at other events, decided to do a couple of nights in Hull so Gemma came to stay as well, and we made a weekend of it.

It meant swapping Leeds First Friday for Hull in March but that was no problem - it's good to mix things up a bit, and I'm always happy to have friends visit my home town!

So this day in February was a pretty big day for me.

I'm pretty far along the social transition road. There are not too many situations I haven't already faced since going full time. But this was a big one - my first job interview as Emily and my fist job interview of any kind for over 12 years!

This felt real - even more than usual.

I didn't have anything particularly suitable for an interview, so this black dress was the best I could do. A little bit overdressed but not massively so. These pictures were taken before I left for the interview.

I have since found out that I got the job!!!

It's only casual work, and a zero hours contract - I'm cover for holidays and sickness - it's to help supplement my main oven cleaning job. And even now, in April, I'm still waiting for my DBS check to come back so they can clear me to start work. But it feels like a massive achievement, and a huge validation for me personally. 😃

I've been working on incorporating feedback on various areas of the ship.

1) The aft ring structure has been improved. Thanks Huib and Anders!

2) Re-worked the greebles around the engine area. Thanks Huib and Simon!

2) Changed up the 72x missile tubes on the sides from 1x1 trans-red tiles to 1x1 dark red hollow studs and incorporated some awesome framing elements with the panels. Thanks Ben, Jonathan, and Bryon!

3) Modified the 12x point defense turrets to be a bit closer to the source material. Thanks Bryon!

4) Tiled up the top of the entire base. Thanks Sioka!

I think it may be time for some proper photos! :D

Here's more of a close up. Please note that Lego trans colours tend to look slightly different when photgraphed (especially with a crappy camera like mine).

I found the feedback Liz gave about achieving texture in trees and plants very helpful. I experimented a bit with different techniques today!

With all the things that needed doing on Christmas Eve there wasn’t a great deal of time to devote to photography.

However I had arrived at the in-laws in Kerry on the 23rd to a wintery scene and knew there were great shots to be had. I quickly volunteered to go to the supermarket on the 24th knowing that I could probably sneak off for a short session with my camera and not be missed. I only had about 20 minutes to play with and took a variety of shots, many of which I didn’t quite nail.

However there are a few that are acceptable , but I am not sure which one I like best.. this one , the straight 50/50 reflection, or the previous shot with the lead in fence posts.... I’ll let the Flickrati decide.

Happy New Year to All.

I live in a bit of a vacuum & trying to get better at my SL photography via product shots (mostly Gatchas that I resell) anyway - If you have time - please let me know which of these photos you think works best - I was trying to capture the great texture maps but I I know to get better I need feedback from others -- thanks!

These are some minifigures I have completed recently, and a little project I have been working on for my story.

Hospital bed: I am going to completely redo the picture for the first chapter of the story, and I made a new hospital bed for it. It has a legs are underneath the covers effect using cheese slopes, and I may add a pillow.

Mr. freeze: I am properbly not the first to use the space collectible minifigure, I hope it looks alright.

Ra's Al Ghul: I changed the fig from bare chested to a green suit, using a old torso that came with my nephews Lego. Does it look enough like the comic version?

Wonder Woman: Based on the newish look, i added a black jacket and pants.

The Lizard: The coat is horrible, but i think the rest turned out alright.

Amy and Rory: Do they look enough like the real deal? The clothing is my own version.

Nick Fury: I added the gorrila minifigure torso backwards, is it distracting?

Omg, i'm in love with this picture.

Gimme your feedback? c;

Thanks for viewing my photos. Feedback or comments are more than welcome :-)

Feedback loops I spotted in my agile software development process.

Sure some cognitive bias is due to my background as a developer.

While you may not agree with the meaning, I am sure everyone will agree on it being a good looking picture: thanks to Ilaria for this! ;-)

As always, your likes, comments and feedback are much appreciated.

Feedback is a process in which information about the past or the present influences the same phenomenon in the present or future. As part of a chain of cause-and-effect that forms a circuit or loop, the event is said to "feed back" into itself.

Although there are a number of problems with flickr I still think it's the best, and I do think if you really want to you can get some useful feedback you can, but you do really need to ask for it. I've done it before and you've been good enough to oblige so I'm asking again....

This is the sunset that was going on opposite my previous shot.

I'm not looking for comments on this shot other than enough to satisfy what I'm going to ask shortly, I'm not looking for favs either.... I would just like if you have the time to comment using either 'like it' or 'don't like it', nothing else. At some stage I'll add in my own opinion but I'm interested to obtain other's opinions.

I will not be offended by those that say they don't like it, I'm trying to obtain some feedback that helps me better inform myself about my photos. In general all you ever receive on flickr and other sites are comments talking about what's good or right with a shot... but really it's the feedback that points out something that is wrong that is often more valuable. e.g. when I'm looking to buy something on amazon and I've narrowed down my choices, then I look at the negative comments in the feedback as it is generally a lot more useful to know what is poor about a product rather than all the comments saying what is good... of course by taking into account the good comments with the bad then you can make an educated decision... but here on flickr you don't tend to get that negative balancing feedback

I think it would be a useful feature for flickr to have... a like/don't like button, perhaps with option to turn it off for those that don't like to know that someone doesn't like there shot.. :o)

Another useful feature would perhaps tohave the ability to have a poll on a shot so that again you could try and obtain some kind of feedback beyond the 'lovely capture' variety.... of which I'm just as guilty as anyone.

I suppose thinking about.... if you also want to comment why you like or dislike the image then that would be fair :o).... although I doubt anyone ever reads this far... which will make it interesting to see all those people that fav the image because they obviously haven't even read the beginning of this description/message.
