If this distinctive peak has a name, it isn't on my topo map. But it certainly stands out among the nearby Wenatchee Mountains in the Teanaway area.

Josie Thompson, Art & Design freshman, lays down the lines for her entry to Crowder's sidewalk chalk drawing contest on April 19. The contest kicked off the school's Fine Arts Week of events, and participation was counted as extra credit for several classes.

I have a new toy :D The sigma 105mm f2.8 Macro lens…this is my first true macro shot and my first attempt at focus stacking with such shallow depth of fields. I missed some parts, but…I really like it. Looking forward for better results…

This shot escaped my initial searches while filling out this collection because my scan revealed poor colors, exposure and framing. However on further inspection, I noticed how the light was hitting his face and thought a monochrome conversion might be interesting. After some level and contrast adjustments and a tighter crop, this shot takes on a much more interesting character.
