01.11.13. Hajvery University (HU) Organised a Grand Orientation & Welcome Party to Welcome the new Students at HU on 30 Oct, 2013 at HU Euro Campus. The Orientation featured Presentations & Speeches by Senior Professors and Cadre of HU Management. It was designed to familiarize the incoming students with all aspects of living & studying at HU, and about the various Opportunities which are available to students, from student led societies, study & work abroad programs, volunteer and research work. Orientation Program was followed by Hi-tea and Musical Evening to provide a memorable beginning to Students 4-5 -years Journey at the University.
Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalid Pervaiz, HU Rector, kicked off the Orientation Session with a Presentation on HU, its Campuses, Facilities, Faculties and their determination to deliver the best education in HU Class Rooms. Director Administration, Maj. General ® Muhammad Latif was next to speak, he emphasised the importance of making the most of University years, and adhering to the rules of the University to ensure an excellent Academic and University Track Record. Departmental Presentations were given by Deans, Heads of Departments & Faculty of various Schools. Prof. Dr. Naeem Khan Afridi, Dean HU School of Engineering & CS delivered a presentation on Emerging Trends in Engineering which was very appreciated by the audience, he shared with the Students that HU School of Engineering is accredited by Pakistan Engineering Council & HEC. Dr. Lubna Shakir, Faculty Member, School Of Pharmacy introduced Pharmaceutical Labs & facilities at HU. She also shared that HU Pharmacy Programs are among the best in Pakistan, and fully accredited by Pakistan Pharmacy Council. Prof. Talat Hamdany, Faculty Member English Department spoke about the importance of learning English to compete in the globalised economy of 21st century.
Prof. Nadia Niazi, Faculty Member, HU School of Fashion & Design spoke about the virtues of Fashion Education at HU. Ms. Annie Emily, HU Faculty Member in School of Media Studies introduced the Media Studies Programs to the new Students. Mr. Umer Sheikh, Director Office of Foreign Affairs & Planning delivered a Presentation on the numerous Study Abroad Opportunities and Highlighted Hajvery University’s achievements in fostering International Relations with 50+ leading Universities around the world where HU Students are eligible to apply for Exchange Semesters.
Mr. Fahd Sheikh, HU Director delivered the closing speech and emphasised that the future is bright for all the students who endeavor to make the most of all the wonderful and amazing opportunities that Hajvery University (HU) provides to its students, inside and outside the classrooms. The Orientation Program was following by a delicious Hi-Tea for the students and faculty alike. The Orientation Concluded with a Musical Evening at the HU Campus Lawns to allow the incoming students to begin one of the most important journeys of their lives with a memorable evening.

"The 2017 Central Feature, designed by Gerry Judah, celebrates the extraordinary life and career of Bernard Charles Ecclestone. A motorsport fan at heart, Bernie's career evolved through five distinct eras, each represented here by a different car.
Driver
A regular competitor in 500cc Coopers during the late 1940s and early 50s, the climax of Bernie's driving career came in 1958, when he entere the Monaco Grand Prix in a Connaught, having bought the team's assets the previous year.
Manager
After calling time on driving, Bernie turned his hand to management, with Stuart Lewis-Evans and Jochen Rindt. The latter became the sport's only posthumous World Champion in 1970, driving the iconic Gold Leaf Lotus 72.
Team Owner
At the end of 1971, Bernie purchased Brabham, forming a formidable partnership with designer Gordon Murray, and drivers including Nelson Piquet, who took the fist of two World Championships for Brabham in a BT49 in 1981.
Impresario
From the 1970s, Bernie controlled F1's commercial rights, transforming it into a global powerhouse. The Ferrari F2001 represents Michael Schumacher's dominance in the early 2000s, when manufacturer involvement reached an all-time high.
Legend
Simply, there is only one 'Bernie' in motorsport. The 2016 World Championship-winning Mercedes AMG W07 brings the story of his time in Formula 1 right up to date.

It's fine for the house to be above quite a water-feature capable of draining significant amounts of water; it's not so fine when the road is above the house, complete with a gutter-load of water entirely overflowing a drain, dislodging enough gravel in the drive to render opening the gate difficult and flood the garage floor - with under an hour's rainfall.
The trick is to arrange piles of gravel 9" or more deep to fork the flow, diverting half into the flower-bed instead.

The care card includes, as you might suspect, care instructions for the bag in several different languages.
New bags also come with a dust bag for storing the handbag. This bag has a satin finish and a cotton interior to protect your handbag. It has an interior tag that says both "Gucci" and "Made in Italy."

Holiday Concert Featuring the Saline High School Chamber Orchestra and Wind Ensemble on Thursday December 9th. The concert featured the Saline High School's two highest level ensembles and the concert was amazing. Maybe the highlight was the percussion members playing "Mercury Rising" - very cool!

Gateway Theatre of Shopping Urn Water Feature Durban, South Africa Project Features: 30 meter diameter circle 5 water effect areas 64 specially designed Clearstream Waterswitches in two rings Vertical Burst Jet shooting up to 20 meters in height Low voltage submersible lighting with color sequencing About the Project: Visitors to South Africa's largest shopping destination are greeted by a number of fountain effects including a 30 meter "ocean wave". This main entrance fountain consists of five areas including a wave, sequenced rings, burst jet, stepped cascades and rear sloped cascade creating a fountain of many personalities. During the day, the fountain operates at lower levels encouraging play in the fountain and for sitting areas. In the evening, the fountain is transformed into a dramatic sound and light show with effects choreographed to five popular musical scores.

The Illuminated feature tram 732 “Tramnik One” also known as “The Rocket” in use as an illuminations tableaux / advertising hoarding and looking very battered. Gynn Square roundabout, Blackpool N.S. Saturday 22 September 2012.
At one time this roundabout was very nice with well-kept flower beds and a large Daily Mail clock mounted in the centre of it. These days it is just a complete mess with Blackpool Council no longer having any pride in its appearance and upkeep. The Rocket has just been dumped on a piece of track which unfortunately is located in a bad position so the tram faces towards Dickson Road rather than either northbound or southbound illuminations traffic travelling along the Promenade. At first the tram was surrounded by tatty temporary metal fencing but even this has now been removed leaving the tram exposed to vandalism.
The future of the Rocket like many other Blackpool trams stored outside along the Fylde Coast and in Merseyside must be in doubt especially with the two proposed museum schemes (Copse Road, Fleetwood and Thornton Gate) unlikely to go ahead. I personally hope that the tram has a bright future (no pun intended) as it was one of the most popular illuminated trams along with the Santa Fe western train. However I very much doubt that it will ever operate again but we shall see; only time will tell although being honest I think the cutters torch will be the only future that many of the stored trams will see during the next few years.
