She spent our first afternoon at Nana & Grandad's pool standing in the shallow edge and submersing herself on repeat.
On Sunday afternoon she started by jumping into Matthew's arms and then started jumping all by herself. Then she continued to do so for the next hour.
My son felt bad for me since my entire season was cancelled, so he arranged for me to take some photos at Fearless MMA (where he trains). I didn't want to use a flash, so my ISO was cranked up and I shot through the fencing when they were in the cage.

Poor kid, looks like an abused kid with all of his poor eczema all over. But, that doesn't stop him from jumping off the couch!
For this piece, I was inspired by the sea. Her dress is cut from beautiful vintage wallpaper featuring giant sailboats and anchors. I added the origami paper as her belt and boots for softness and then used an alchemy of materials for the rest of the piece-acrylics, pastels, ink, and pencil. On top, I applied an antique decoupage.

This girl and pony looked a bit mismatched in terms of size - but they worked as a good team and ended in the prize-wining line-up.
