My son felt bad for me since my entire season was cancelled, so he arranged for me to take some photos at Fearless MMA (where he trains). I didn't want to use a flash, so my ISO was cranked up and I shot through the fencing when they were in the cage.
The deer in Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Parks have very little fear of humans since hunting is illegal. Later on the trek, I tested the fearlessness and was able to get so close to one doe that I could have pet it.
The stare from a NZ Falcon can be quite intimidating. The thing about these birds is they can back the stare up.I find it hard to hold their gaze, the Falcon could outstare a shark if you ask me.This is one of the NZ Falcons at "Wingspan" in Rotorua,New Zealand. If ever you get down there ;Wingspan is definetaly worth going to.Falcons have got under my skin as I find them very inspirational to watch and photograph. All the Falcon and Harrier photos I have taken have been from here.
If this was a wild Falcon I would probably be on the ground in a foetal positon. Even in captivity they keep their predator instinct and are never pets.If you dont believe me just look into those eyes.
Better still get along to "Wingspan" and see Noel and Debbie who are awesome hosts.
If you see a bald headed bloke with a dirty old Nikon say gidday, its probably me.Cheers.

This photo is the most compelling I've ever seen of me. It captures the moment in time perfectly. Thanks to Michael Livshin I will have something to remember the greatest moment in my life.
"... she encountered the wolf... however she did not know what a wicked sort of animal he was and she was not afraid of him..."

Chica, John's dog, is a fearless little scrambler and the most polite dog I've ever seen begging for food :D
