Beautiful Isle of Skye.. Cuith-Raing During our morning hike in the mountains. Such lovely views are always enjoyed more in a company ;D
Los Angeles County Arboretum:
I was walking down the road from the café towards the forest when I stopped to talk to a friend.
While we were chatting she pointed to something behind me. I turned to see the coyote casually crossing the road not far from us (too close to us!).
Of course being photographers we got a couple of quick shots before I stomped and shooed it away. It increased its gait (just slightly) and headed towards the lawn where Canada Geese were grazing. Don't know what happened after that.
Those darn coyotes feel very comfortable with humans and they shouldn't.

As I hiked in the valley of the previous photo, I heard a strange rumbling sound. It was 28 hooves clattering on rock. I looked up and saw a ram with 6 ewes galloping along a narrow shelf on a high sandstone wall. Snapping photos as fast as I could, I watched as they quickly vanished out of sight. I marveled at their sure-footedness in this steep, unforgiving environment.
Real fearlessness is the product of tenderness.
It comes from letting the world tickle your heart,
your raw and beautiful heart.
You are willing to open up,
without resistance or shyness,
and face the world.
You are willing to share your heart with others.

Tibetan Buddhist,
When I was young, I was as fearless as this kid; I like to test my limit and see how far I can go. Sometimes, I succeed; sometimes, I did not. Throughout these experiences, I learned that you have to overcome your fear to learn new things.
As I get older, I start to get laid back. I am scared to try something new and failed. I let the fear to overcome me. Maybe that is because I think too much of the outcome. I wish I can be fearless again :)
